We, the government will confiscate your property at our whim, line our pockets with pork, and you, the 'chattering class', the serfs, will just shut up about it and go back to watching American Idol, you apathetic shmucks.

Just look at that smug smirk.

Maybe he's right. Maybe the only reason he can say that is because the once proud and revolutionary American people really don't care anymore.
